Some commercial loss control firms are using wedding photographers for their loss control inspections. For these firms, no training or experience is required. The hiring firm lists the photos required. Someone else will analyze the photos and write the report. For a commercial kitchen, take a photo of the range hood. Someone will determine if the hood adequately covers the range and if it is a wet or a dry system by looking at the nozzles. Take a photo of the inspection/cleaning tag. Take a photo of the manual pull station. The pay for these photo-taking inspections is very low, but then again, no training or experience is required. Taking a photo of a fire sprinkler riser is an easy as capturing the groom kissing the bride. Just take the photo and someone else will analyze the riser photo and write the report.
